After this, What then?

We hear folks talking about when this COVID-19 is over and things return to normal. Well, this could very well be the new normalcy. Life, since the garden, has been a progressive forward movement. Seldom do things return to the state Pryor to each new day. “What’s next” should be our focus and how we cope with today will shape our reaction to tomorrow. One thing never changes; God. [Malachi 3:6[ “For I am the LORD, I change not;...”[Hebrews 13:8] “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Adam sought to return to the normalcy of the Garden of Eden. Time went forward not backward even unto the flood.

Noah obeyed God and moved forward into the ark where he moved forward into a cleaned world.

The tower of babble crumbled never to be restored.
Abraham began a new generation and the old passed never to return.
Sodom changed the will of God to evil as a new way. God corrected the situation and it never returned to this day.
God gave Moses the law and many wanted to return to the old way, where there was no law. This did not happen.
The Jews desired to keep to order of the priest hood, Jesus Christ fulfilled the law and set a new order that still guides us.
Though some cling to the darkness of sin and never change, life for them will never remain the same. There is coming one who believes he can change plans God’s made in the beginning: [Daniel 7:25] “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws:...”
John 1:1 “1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

Existentialism is not what I proclaim. God did not make all things that then was but all that would ever exist. He is continually monitoring his creation as He put it into existence in the beginning. He knew Contra Virus even then. His plan is running and will run until his scheduled “end of days” arrives. He even knows the second of the coming of the thunderclap that will end time forever more. Only eternity will continue for in it there is no end. Know God, know peace. Amen. 08-15-2020 BLL

  Each Day We can only live each day in its time frame. Yesterday, with its ups and downs is passed never to return. Tomorrow is a vision of hope not yet on the horizon. Each day bares its on unique set of events. Some recognizable some masked in ignorance. As we near the dawning of a new day, calling upon the Lord is a necessary activity.
