Looking Back
Looking back to the onset of the contra virus, one can see that things could have been done differently. However, we are where we are in God’s time frame. We all surly turn now and again to stare in amazement at the back life and its accomplishments and failures. This is sometimes good and sometimes not so good. If it were possible to go back and live those days over, we might do differently. In a poem composed years back I say: “Its off down the road I go to a place not far below. A place from which to backward look and see what road I wrongward took.” In this current pandemic it is imperative that we all take a backward look and learn from our mistakes. It ins't over until it’s over. Let us all try to make some positive difference. don’t backward look desiring repetition of any wrongs or mistakes. God is not pleased with that. Once we have seen the error of our ways let us press on to better days.
 Luke 9:62 “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
In all things give God the praise. Forget not that He is truly worthy of our praise and glorifies in it.
 John 6:66 ”From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67  Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68  Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69  And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
 Luke 17:15 "And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.”
Hebrews 10:39 “But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
When Sitting Bull appeared before Abraham Lincoln to plead the case of Indian mistreatment, the president told him to return to the Indian territory and there endeavor to preserver.” A short time later the massacre of soldiers at the battle of little big Horne Sitting Bull states “ We are endeavoring to persevere.” Every man looks at life from his own perspective.  3//27/13 “Remember from Whence Thou art Fallen” “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation 2:5) Today we touch the untouchable book of Revelation, given to us by John of Patmos, through our Savior Jesus Christ himself. This particular message is one I have given before, in places where I knew none of the congregation, and had no idea why God wouldn’t let me preach from any other scripture.  It is probably one of the most important messages for the people of today’s church to hear. It is also probably the hardest for today’s “Christians” here in our country to comprehend, and even harder to accept. (Luke 12:22 &23) Life is indeed more than meat, food, clothing and the things that are constantly demanding the attention of the physical, carnal man, whose concern for himself and those he considers his own, all too often revolve. Life also consists of the inner being, the soul of that man, and those he considers his own, and all others as well with whom he is in contact in the process of what is called living.
