TURNING

Turning

Repent, getting saved, come to the Lord, conversion are all words that refer to the turning from a sin filled life to living and serving Christ. Associated with the turning is the confession; a recognition of forgiveness and a testimony of ones salvation. Simple as it seems, it is very difficult to get those “lost” to come to a point where the Lord can save their soul. One must solidify the change through a submersion baptism as a mark of the turning and representation of being buried and resurrected into the body of Christ Jesus. “Turn sinner turn” is the heu and cry put out by most Christians. Sinners do not seem to hear and neither do some idle Christians. Just promote safety or stats connected with world problems, government and diseases and they are all ears. We must turn our attention unto God while working to curb world issues. Only God has ALL the answers. Present Him as the comforter and healer.

Ezekiel 33:11 “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways;...” [Acts 26:18[ To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God,...”

2 Chronicles 7:14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Christians don’t look back to the world for your deliverance.
2 Peter 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.”

2 Hebrews 12:25 “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 2 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” [Timothy 3:5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
Philippians 1:16 “... Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. 19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,”  Know God, know peace. Amen 08-13-2020 BLL
