What If

What if, as some think, that this life is all that there is to each of us. Some die in the womb, some after birth. Some in infancy, some as teens, some in middle age and few in dotage. What if that was all they had to hold onto; then nothing! What if COVID-19, Bubonic Plague, Killer Bugs, cancer, aids, hepatitis C, Bird Flue. On and on, what joy would there be in living if death ended everything.

1 Corinthians 15:19 “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”
Revelation 3:17 “...thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
James 4:14 “...For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”
John 12:25 “He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.”

Matthew 25:44 “Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”

John 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

John 3:15 “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
1 John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
John 6:40 “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
What if some never accept Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. For them there is no hope of a good life after death; only hell’s hot fire awaits them. Know God, know peace. Amen 08-12-2020 BLL

  Each Day We can only live each day in its time frame. Yesterday, with its ups and downs is passed never to return. Tomorrow is a vision of hope not yet on the horizon. Each day bares its on unique set of events. Some recognizable some masked in ignorance. As we near the dawning of a new day, calling upon the Lord is a necessary activity.
