Time Will Tell

Time will Tell

The adage “time will tell” is as old as the hills. The concept is literally that enduring in time. Used as an ‘out’ when speaking and the topic in question is unclear. A sister to this adage is “time heals all wounds.” Either by its running or its ending, time truly solves all mysteries and seals all life issues. Meanwhile, “behind every dark cloud there is a silver lining.” Gloom, doom, despair and agony seems to rule the day in this period of time. Some say the end of time is imminent. Others say things are no different now than when our forefathers walked the terra firma in their time. Each generation sees the deterioration or maturation of the quality of time as it was from their knowledgeable beginning to their present point in the closing of the final age. As to the truth of these concepts, “time will tell.”

Ecclesiastes 3: 1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;  4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;”

Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”
1 John 2:18 “...even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.”
Daniel 12:1 “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”
Revelation 1:3 “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Revelation 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”
Know God, know peace. Amen. 04/01/21
