God Cares

God Cares

We have a caring God and He loves His children; us! He takes pleasure in calming our fears but chides us for our lack of faith. Fear is not of God. So many times we read “be not afraid.”

When peter walked on the water going to Jesus, his fear dwindled his faith and Jesus had to rescue him from sinking. God comes to us in our storms and waits for our request. Peter had two requests even while doubting. He ask God to bid him to come to Him on the water. When he began to sink he cried out to be saved. Jesus granted his requests, then gave him a lesson of faith.

1 Peter 5:6-:7

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

Romans 1:17 ”For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”

Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”
Matthew 28:20 “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

If you should have occasion to be afraid, turn it over to God. He is always with you. Always try giving your fear to Him. It won’t be easy at first but with every success and knowing His written word, you will grow more confident and stronger in faith. As long as you walk the land, you cannot stop believing.

Continually claim this promise from Good that God will always care for us, and He is able to take our fears and replace them with a smile. Know God, know peace. 04/11/21 BLL
