The Cry

“Every time I hear a newborn baby cry, or touch a leaf, or see the sky, I know why I believe.” This song, sung by Elvis Presley, “I Believe” seems to always touch the heart of believers. In it are revealed many truths of God’s love and methods of blessings. I do not know where the “great somewhere” exists but I know that it does and those who love the Lord and keep His commandments go there to live eternally. Preparing for that place we call heaven is simple. You must want to go. You must realize your sinful spirit cannot go. You must humble yourself and admit your sins to God and repent. You must ask forgiveness, accept His love, testify of His work in your life and be baptized. Living the life required will then come easy. In the end, He will wipe away all tears from your eyes and you will dwell in that great beyond with Him forever.

2 Samuel 22:7 “In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.”
Psalms 9:12 “When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.”

Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Romans 8:15 “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6) “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” Know God, know peace. Amen 12/20/20 BLL

  A GIVING HEART “ Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.” (1 Chronicles 29:9) Israel’s people brought gifts for the construction of the holy temple in Jerusalem, it is mentioned no less than six times in this chapter that their offerings were willing offerings.   Each Day We can only live each day in its time frame. Yesterday, with its ups and downs is passed never to return. Tomorrow is a vision of hope not yet on the horizon. Each day bares its on unique set of events. Some recognizable some masked in ignorance. As we near the dawning of a new day, calling upon the Lord is a necessary activity. If we neglect the creat o r and giver of the new day, we simply cannot have a right spirit. Joy comes in the morning only through God’s book of promises.
