The Cry

The Cry

Every time I hear a newborn baby cry, or touch a leaf, or see the sky, I know why I believe.” This song, sung by Elvis Presley, “I Believe” seems to always touch the heart of believers. In it are revealed many truths of God’s love and methods of blessings. I do not know where the “great somewhere” exists but I know that it does and those who love the Lord and keep His commandments go there to live eternally. Preparing for that place we call heaven is simple. You must want to go. You must realize your sinful spirit cannot go. You must humble yourself and admit your sins to God and repent. You must ask forgiveness, accept His love, testify of His work in your life and be baptized. Living the life required will then come easy. In the end, He will wipe away all tears from your eyes and you will dwell in that great beyond with Him forever.

2 Samuel 22:7 “In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.”
Psalms 9:12 When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.”
Isaiah 40:3 “The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Matthew 3:3For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
Mark 1:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.”
Matthew 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6) And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” Know God, know peace. Amen 12/20/20 BLL
