Gated Community
Gated Community
Many living locations referred to as “gated communities.” are scattered around the country. They ‘offer prestige and seclusion.’ They are considered safer and more secure than normal clustered dwellings. Some have guard shacks manned contentiously with greeters to visitors and screeners to residents. Others only have an electronics gate activated by a key card or pass word. Whatever the method of control, it is intended to keep intruders out and protect residence from unwanted visitors. It partially works. However, man made systems have flaws that allow breeches in security. I bought into such a community down near Memphis, Tn. a few years back. Strict rules were in place and gates were guarded twenty-four seven. Only owners properly credentialed were allowed to pass the guards. Guests were required to be identified as such and vouched for. The place had three lakes, tennis courts, play ground and other amenities. Good for a while, the bite of security soured. Today it sits an eyesore and vagabond heaven. Thieves and law violators make up the majority of the property owners. It is not what it was intended to be. However, I was given a place in a gated community where thieves never will break in and peace never be disturbed. My benefactor is Christ Jesus and the community is called Heaven.
- Luke 13:24 “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. (Matthew 7:14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Hebrews 13:11 “...the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. 12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. (14) For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. 15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”
- Revelation 21:21 “And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. (Revelation 21:25) “And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.”
- Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
- Accept Christ’s free gift of keys to the Gates of a city not made by hand. Without His blood key on them. those seeking to enter cannot. Know God, know peace. Amen 12/22/20 BLL
