New Beginning

New Beginning

Every day is a new beginning. The newness of life begins afresh. We can make of it as much or as little as we choose. Some with more strength and, better health and higher financial status may make more. Those with less in life may strive harder and come up short of their goal. Quality of life cannot be measured from the outside. One would say that the quality of Jesus’ life during his last hours on earth was not very good. However, it was the total fulfillment of His purpose on earth. He suffered greatly without and agonized within. It marked the ending of an era and the beginning of a new age. Those hours fulfilled the law and opened the gate to God’s grace. Often we see death approaching and study its possibilities. Soberly, we recognize life’s ending as a new pain free, everlasting life. Yes, every day can be a new beginning for all of us.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:”
Ecclesiastes 7:8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”
2 Thessalonians 2:13 “...God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:”
1 John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning...”
2 Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.”
1 John 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. (2 John 1:6) And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.”

Matthew 24:7 “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Know God, know peace. 12/28/20 BLL
