Encouragement

Encouragement

It seems that Contra Virus lowers its hissing head for a moment then raises it again to even greater heights. There is no wonder that people are growing ever more cautious and worried. The devil has hidden the most valuable mode of communication of love. Christian light is hidden behind a mask of protection. A smile light the day and way to those who are stressed. Words of encouragement are muffled and hard to understand from the six foot social distancing. Many are becoming recluse; leaving their abode only when necessary. The younger and stronger are carrying in supplies for the weak and elderly. Where will this pandemic end and when? Such questions draw out no real answers. It will end when God calls a halt to the devils work and when His propose is fulfilled. Be of good cheer. Our Lord has overcome the world.

1 Samuel 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.”
2 Chronicles 31:4 Moreover he [Hezekiah] commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.”
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Psalms 37:4 “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God [is] pure: he [is] a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].”
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
John 16:33 “… [Jesus] In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
Hebrews 10:25 - Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Romans 15:13 “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Know God, Know peace. Amen 10-26-2020 BLL
