Danger
Danger
An elderly farmer with long hair and beard and wearing bib overalls with one gallows broken, stood beside a narrow country road one Sunday morning. Beside him was his wife in similar attire. He held up a note scribbled on a piece of cardboard in black crayon as a car, filled with church goers, came toward them. It read: “Turn around now.” The riders laughed and shouted: “Were already saved,” and sped up mumbling “fanatics, should be in Morning services.” Within seconds, after rounding a nearby blind curve, a loud screeching of tires and horrendous crashing sounds came back to the farmers ears. He looked at his wife and said “Maybe we should have written bridge out ahead.”
Some danger signs do not clearly delineate the danger ahead nor the end results of activities of people missing the mark of sanctification and the lost. Christian workers are often prone to water down danger signs of the impending coming of Christ for His bride. They seldom mention hell or the eternal burning lake of fire prepared for the Devil and his angels. His angels also incorporates non believers and the deceived. Afraid of offending, fear of loosing tithes and members and inadequate preparation in God’s word to explain and question put to them. Today, with sings of the end coming on fast, it is imperative the full gospel be delivered to a deceived, made comfortable and dying generation. Speak boldly if you dare.
- 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
- Acts 4:31 “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.”
2 Timothy 4:1 “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
- Mark 13:13 “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
- John 15:18 “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” Know God, know peace. Amen. 10-27-2020 BLL
