The Awakening

THE AWAKENING

There have been many times that several have said: “why do you bother with clearing that fallow field of stubble?” Here in Proverbs is found the answer. All so, a drive through our country will quickly reveal to the watchful eye many incidence of those who slumber while their awakening is on its journey to their house. Sadly, the awakening of spirit and from physical neglect needs to appear at the house of our Lord. Too many children of God see all things as someone “else’s” responsibility. The poet John Donne wrote: “ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for the.” When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, I pray none will have to ask: “is that for me.” They who hear the trump's sound have missed the call and the great awakening.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”
Proverbs 24: 30 “I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; 31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. 32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. 33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: 34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.”
My dear brothers and Sisters, it is high time that we awaken from slumber and recognize the signs of His coming and set our house in order. Warn the slothful of the work to be accomplished immediately and work yourselves for the ‘Day of the Lord’ is surly near at hand. Jesus gave us this lesson to be conscious of as the end time grew nigh.
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
Every one is responsible for their own readiness. Here we can bear each others burdens but we will not sustain enough righteousness to share at His coming. “Work while it is day for the night cometh when no man can work. (John 9:4) “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”
Do a work unto the Lord. Cast not your pearls before the swine. Time swiftly passes by and many who will come needs an invitation. There is no time to re-plow ground that has already been prepared for seeding. Awaken and view the world of darkness; plunge in as a light. Do not expect to be greeted with open arms or even spoken well of.

2 Peter 2: 3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

1 Corinthians 5:11 “But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
Awaken to the truth. There is a God in charge and He sees all and knows all. COVID-19 did not slip upon Him. It is an awakening call just as was 9-11, tsunami (Sep 11, 2013 · 800 feet tall deep sea waves discovered in Pacific Ocean.), floods and many other signs too numerous to be here written. God knows you! Know God, know peace. Amen. 04-19-2020 BLL
