Slip and Slide

Slip and Slide.

Cain slew his brother Able without provocation. Simple jealously and personal chastisement drove the hand with the clod that struck the deadly blow. The bible record does not elaborate further than the act, burial and denial by Cain. Because evil had entered into the hearts of all God’s people they began to slip and slide further and further from the right way into the waiting arms of Satan. Eternal life on earth had been forfeited. Peace and tranquility had become null and void. Hate, greed and coveting replaced love in peoples heart. As births occurred, these evil traits were passed on through generations. God turned a rejecting back toward humankind. It grieved Him that he ever created them. It was a pattern of “slip and slide” into deeper depravity until all the thoughts of people on earth were evil. One mans life appeared before God and displayed belief and righteousness. His name was Noe and he was predestined to save a strain of all life. God destroyed all but Noah’s family and squelched the earth. Slipping and sliding of Christians from and into Godly practices creates displeasure in heaven and precariously perches them on the bring of God’s judgment. Some tend to slip into some church for a while. Finding fault the slide out and slip into another. Repeatedly, they find faults and lack understanding and faith. Faith comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God in all its facets. The uncertainty of slipping and sliding is a red flag. To sit in the loving hand of God and become like Him get off the skate board of Satan's playing field and Know God!

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Colossians 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:” (Ephesians 5:15) “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,”
Ephesians 2:10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

Hebrews 8:1 “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

Hebrews 12:1 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Know God, know peace. Amen 06\12\21 BLL
