 Take Heart

There are so many people today suffering or hiding from cancer, COVID-19 and other maladies. Some attempt to escape the fear by rejecting the idea of a world wide pandemic. Others mask themselves and hide. Still others say, “yes, there is a problem but the government will correct it.” Realists see things as they are and look to God for knowledge and guidance. The pandemic is real and is devastating world populations in most countries. Government agents work with one hand bound by self interest, greed, fear, or other sociopolitical influences. The answer can only be: “look to God for deliverance from sin, sickness and troubles.” He is the only power on earth or in heaven that can suppress pandemics, faulty leaders or human fears.

2 Peter 3:14 “Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.” 

  Luke 19:38 “Saying, Blessed be the King (leader) that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.”

  Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”   

  John 14:27 “... the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, ...” (27) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

  Romans 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:”

  Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

  Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

  Romans 14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

Galatians 5:22 “...the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (23) Meekness, temperance:...” 

 Romans 15:13 “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

  Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

  2 Corinthians 13:11 “Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.”

  A GIVING HEART “ Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.” (1 Chronicles 29:9) Israel’s people brought gifts for the construction of the holy temple in Jerusalem, it is mentioned no less than six times in this chapter that their offerings were willing offerings.   Each Day We can only live each day in its time frame. Yesterday, with its ups and downs is passed never to return. Tomorrow is a vision of hope not yet on the horizon. Today is the day the Lord has given us. Let Each Day We can only live each day in its time frame. Yesterday, with its ups and downs is passed never to return. Tomorrow is a vision of hope not yet on the horizon. Today is the day the Lord has given us. Lets make the best soldier for Him that we can while the day passes into yesterday. Each day bares its on unique set of events. Some recognizable some masked in ignorance. As we near the dawning of a new day, calling upon the Lord is a necessary activity. If we neglect the creat o r and giver of the new day, we simply cannot have a right spirit. Joy comes in the morning only through God’s book of promises.
