End Time 8 World Seeking Peace
End Time Sign # 8 World Seeking Peace
1
Thessalonians 5:3 ...”For when they shall
say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as
travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
This sign is
being fulfilled in our day. Ask
most men and women of God who study diligently
in God’s Word if the end is near and you will hear a resounding:
‘Yes!’
There is a large
representation in
a
number of different Christian Churches promoting working
unity among the world's churches.
This
unifying movement represents the beginning of the movement
today which we were told about in end times prophecy uniting the
world in an effort to bring peace. Churches and faiths and political
leaders of
a
uniting like never before in an effort to bring peace to this world.
But this ecumenical movement is not of God, because we as God's
people are not to unite with the world or any false religion (Amos
3:3,
Can
two walk together, except they be agreed?“;
II
Corinthians 6:16-18
“,
16
And
what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the
temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and
walk in them;
and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17
Wherefore
come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and
touch not the unclean thing;
and I will receive you, 18
And
will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters,
saith the Lord Almighty. Revelation
18:4 (“And
I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my
people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not
of her plagues.“).
When they do declare "peace
and safety"
then destruction will come upon them (1 Thessalonians 5:2-4
(2
For
yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a
thief in the night.3
For
when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh
upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not
escape.4
But
ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you
as a thief.
Of peace and safety, there will be no certainty of the wwar like atmosphere around the world. Matthew 24:6-7 ...'And ye shall hear of wars ... For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.'
There
are so many doubters today who
say that this isn't a sign of the end times, because there have been
wars as
long as there have been nations.
Yes, there have been wars since world
leaders began to seek more and more world authority and recognition.
However,
when you look at the frequency and intensity of wars, then it's plain
to see that this is a sign of the times we are living in. During the
20th century alone, more people have been killed as a result of war
than all
previous centuries combined. This has resulted in uncountable
millions of war deaths in recent times: ie.
World War I, World War II, Russian Civil War, Congo War, Korean War,
Vietnam War, Iraq, etc. Today, there are conflicts and wars raging
all around the world. And in 2011, armed conflicts greatly increased
and
threats and skirmishes
are on daily news casts. Nothing in the past centuries compares
to the war threats and acts of this past century. You have witnessed
enough yourself to convince
you this “war” prophesy is being fulfilled at a rapid pace..
Is
there any doubt that wars and rumors of war are signs for today. No!.
But remember, we are not to take any of these signs alone as proof.
Jesus said ... "when ye shall see all
these things, know that it is
near". (Matthew 24:33). Taking one sign like this on
it's own will not prove we are living in the last days. All
signs need to be fulfilled.
Please
prayerfully seek the truth yourself, by studying the Word of God in
the Bible. Know God, know peace. 03-12-2019 BLL
