Outsiders
5/18/17

John 15:19King James Version (KJV)
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Many times in life, each individual that makes his own choice, rather than to, "go with the flow", will feel the ostricization of those around him who choose to accept the ideologies and concepts that drive society as that society deviates from what is deeply believed and demands behavior that cannot coincide nor coexist with those beliefs and concepts.

These individuals who choose to cling to precepts taught for Milena, that have proven their truth and validity throughout that lengthy time frame, become "outsiders",  facing ridicule and constant rejection by that society that has "moved on" to "better" practices and beliefs that once were held only by "outsiders".

The Christian is, has always been, and must always continue to be, "outsiders", in a world driven by an alienation from God Himself, inherited from the original true outsider, Adam.

Adam chose to be an "outsider" through his disobedience to his Creator, and found himself  outside the initial place given him, physically and spiritually.

The second Adam, Christ Jesus, also chose to be an "outsider" but of a far different sort, He chose to obey and to preach the truth of being an "insider"  when placed in the context of His Father.

By making that choice he became an "outsider", considered a dangerous radical to the society that chose the same path taken by the original Adam, rather than accept the grace offered through him to bring them back into the fold inside that grace that provides an "insider relationship with God.

His disciples, too, chose to be "outsiders" as they continued to preach the truth preached by Him, and preach the only means of returning to an "insider" status with God the father.

Today there remains two types of "outsider" and "insider".

On the one hand, there are the outsiders who drive society farther and farther from the inside relationship with God, the inside relationship intended by God, the inside promise of eternal life through redemption in return for repentance given us by Christ Jesus, and on the other hand, a smaller group of "outsiders" who refuse those efforts by that first group of outsiders that drive society, choosing not to become insiders as that group comes to prominence within society itself, and loses hope of prominence with God.

There is, and, must be an enmity between these two groups, as friendship with the world is enmity with God.

Matthew 6:24-34
King James Version (KJV).
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

A master must be chosen, that master being mankind and his wants, desires, precepts, and conventions, or God Whose desires, precepts and conventions remain unchanging and unchangeable.

That enmity manifests itself daily through the thoughts, actions and lack of actions taken by those on both sides of the equation.

A lack of action, a lack of conviction, is in itself action and conviction.

Conformation in order to coexist becomes surrender and defeat, changing status of " insider and outsider".

Romans 12:2
King James Version (KJV)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Transformation, required to attain the promise of redemption through repentance cannot, and will not make allowance for conformation and conformity to the changes demanded by a corrupt world in denial of what is good, acceptable, and perfect, which IS the will of God.

That transformation cannot occur unless and until those things are understood and obeyed, and cannot be understood or obeyed until pursued through having been taught, having read the scriptures that outline them, accepting those scriptures and understanding the necessity for the enmity that exists between the two groups of "outsiders".

All men are "outsiders",  by their very nature.

Romans 3:23
King James Version (KJV)
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

All men remain outsiders, either by ignoring this precious quote from Paul, choosing enmity with God by that choice to ignore, or outsiders within that world by choosing to accept God's enmity with that sin that permeates the societies contained within that woeful world.

The simplicity and clarity of that choice is apparent, unobscured and inobscurable.

I would far rather be an "outsider", "outcast", radical within this world than to find myself an "outsider" facing ostriciation , not of men, but of God.

2 Timothy 1:12
King James Version (KJV)
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Amen and Amen
