And shall not God avenge his own Elect?
9/2/14

"And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry out day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless. when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on earth?

(Luke 18: 7 &8)

The cries that go out daily to God to avenge those persecuted, martyred for his sake continues. The cries of those yet to face that persecution themselves is far less heard, as the complete failure to have compassion for them results in the apathetic failure to act on those prayers continues in those claiming faith but in denying it in action.

Something said long ago, applies to this, and every nation suffering the onslaught of extremism in the form of those who would force opinion and false religion on all nations. It could be said no better!

"They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a guard shall be stationed in every house?

"Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? "

" Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us.
"Besides, Sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations; and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave.

" It is in vain sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace, but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gate that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms.!

"Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here Idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid t, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"

If these words, spoken so vehemently, and well, have any meaning at all, it would appear to take only the liberty of those past into consideration, as those it was handed down to have long since forgotten them, now refusing to see the same vicious, evil attacks on brethren suffering for a cause that is supposedly supported by them, simply ignoring the cries of others so that their comfort will not be disturbed.

"Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare for war, wake up the mighty men, let all men of war draw near; let them come up.

Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears: let the weak say I am strong."

(Joel 3:9&10)

There is One who stands ready and will avenge, will cast judgment, will never allow apathy to interfere with that which is preordained of God:

"And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These  things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, enven in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you where Satan dwelleth.

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there  them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sanctified unto idols, and to commit fornication.

So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the the Nicolations which thing I hate.

Repent: or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it."

(Revelation 2:12-16)

God has already avenged His elect!

We await only the coming of preordained, predestined vengeance on the unholy that continue to persecute, continue to mislead, continue to promote the lies of that old serpent long ago in the garden.

If that Vengeance is to be escaped, it will only be through the shed blood of Christ Jesus, and the acceptance of the message given by Him throughout His ministry.

Escape remains available to any willing to hear and heed that message given.

Sin will only be overcome by the grace  made possible through the Sacrificial crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, and God's elect will find only peace through the salvation given through that grace alone.

FEAR NOT!

Rather choose to welcome that coming vengeance!

Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!
