Why is the Truth Still Rejected

Proverbs 22:6 KJV

⁶Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Children, are by far the most valuable and most vulnerable asset given to man in this life.

It is their training, education and edification that should be of paramount importance to each parent blessed with the gift  entrusted to them.

Yet, what is taught, brought forward as truth is most often the very reason for future questioning of TRUTH itself.

Fairy tales told the young are eagerly accepted by minds that KNOW they must be true, simply because mommy or daddy or grandpa or grandpa said so.

How disappointing it is as they grow, realizing the truth about "Santa Claus" and the "Easter Bunny" that bring them such joy while the truth goes untold making the lie so much more acceptable to them.

How easily are the lies of their peers and teachers accepted as the verity of all that is taught in the home questioned simply because of all the "little white lies" that were taught in place of truth in their formative years.

Heroes are selected from animated cartoons, characters that never existed, yet believable for a while because of presentation.

True heroes are relegated to the past as outdated both in accomplishment and ideals.

It saddens me deeply to see the proliferation of the lies that make the truth all the harder to accept once that truth is presented, especially as that truth itself is denied in favor of the lie even in the bastions that purport to proclaim the TRUTH brought by Christ Jesus.

Matthew 19:14 KJV

 ¹⁴But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Little children, always precious to God, always adamant in belief of what they are being taught, who are denied the TRUTH of Christ, the TRUTH of His very purpose, become those questioning the existence of God, the soul that is eternal that was breathed into them making them so precious to the Creator, become those trusting only to the machinations of man, seeing no need to put any faith in TRUTH being taught as it would deny them of the things of a world they find so attractive and seemingly worthy of their entire attention, until the lie is eventually exposed, either here or as the journey continues beyond the grave that they must eventually come to accept as an inescapable TRUTH.

Each facet of that journey, from birth to death, is filled with lies that must be separated from the TRUTH, a separation that is based on all that is proven true or false along the way.

There is only one TRUTH, that given us by God, the Creator, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the one true and LIVING God...That TRUTH being embodied in the sacrifice provided through Christ Jesus, proven through the resurrection of that same Son of God, the only TRUTH in which CERTAINTY of hope may exist.

Unless, and until that CERTAINTY, that TRUTH is instilled, the lies that replace it will prevail throughout the lives of all choosing the lie rather than the TRUTH.

It is that TRUTH that Jesus proclaimed from baptism to crucifixion, so unacceptable that the demand for that crucifixion, attempted and failed, to drown out that TRUTH.

The Lie will always fail as it is proven false.

The TRUTH can never fail despite the increasing volume of that lie no matter how large the masses that would rather have the warm fuzzy of the lie, rather than be exposed to the SURETY of the TRUTH.

When Jesus spoke the words, "It is finished" from the cross, the lie was finished forever in its ability be believed by any having heard and heeded the TRUTH.

2 Timothy 1:12 KJV

 ¹²For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
