The Looming Conflict
10/5/18
Romans 8:35-39 King James Version (KJV)
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Once more unrest and restless fear permeates the environment surrounding the children of God.
Many, if not all, direct their attention to the affairs of men, most in fear of what is to come as division and hatred are so apparent in their lives, filling the airwaves with that fear and with evidence of that hatred, that in and of itself attempts to stifle the love and union with the Holy Spirit and the promise delivered by Christ through the sacrifice made on our behalf.
The need for endurance, faith and belief is seldom considered by men in the face of that fear, despite the promise that is given alongside the warning accompanying it by the Savior Whose love and power has been proven in through the resurrection from the grave evidencing that very power.
Matthew 28:18-20 King James Version (KJV)
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
That power remains in effect despite any and all conflict or rumor of conflict that has arisen or may arise in a world that condemns itself daily to separation from that very love through the belief in the lie still being propagated that began in the garden, that man is the most superior creature in existence, even above the Creator Himself, as man accepts his own intellect and ability rather than succumbing to the simple commandment to:
"Repent! For the kingdom of God is at hand."
Though the power of evil is indeed great, the power of that love given us, that precious grace imparted to us through Chris,t and the blood sacrifice sealing the promise is and will always remain far greater!
When that love and grace are accepted, there is NOTHING that may ever remove the power of that promise!
2 Timothy 1:12 King James Version (KJV)
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
Choose, if you will between the fear begun and ending in the power of mankind, and the power held by he who holds the power of LIFE awaiting the few willing to acknowledge that my God is greater than their demon, or any creature in existence throughout the universe CREATED by my God, salvaged from the destruction of men by the only one holding the keys of hell itself as well as the promise of LIFE once accepted.
Amen and Amen,
the Wayfarer
