Recovered
Recovered I
Looking outside the hospital room’s slatted aperture, allowed a scene of a solid brick structure top to bottom - side to side except for a small opening in the upper right corner. There appeared, for a short period of time, a lone figure believed to be some maintenance personnel going about their daily duties. A vent of some purpose unknown to non hospital employees was the center of their focus. Beyond that another brick wall, without windows, extend back only far enough to allow a slither of sun lit sky to creep through. That little light was a welcome site to one confined to a bed of treatment. As days passed, that little twinkle of light became more and more the focal point of attention. God’s blue peep hole into eternity with all its preceding clusters of astonishing beauty opened the mind and confounded the spirit. Out there far beyond confinement, glared freedom and hope. If only people could meditate on the starry sky every evening, their days would pass in a different attitude. Looking into infinity diminishes the concentration on temporal daily experiences. It is important for each of to learn ways to enter into the presence of God quickly and efficiently. Time would remove me from that little room well enough to return home to the care of family and friends. I left having found a wonderful line open into the throne room of God.
We enter into God’s gates with an attitude of thankfulness. Humble and unworthy we go through His shed blood; masked are all our unworthiness. We are down often but not defeated as long as we can pass in and out of the presence of God and walk with the Holy Spirit. Thank Gog for sustaining us and using us to His purpose.
Psalms Chapter 100
1 (A Psalm of praise.) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Know God, know peace. Amen. 10-28-2020 BLL
