While WE were yet Sinners

Romans 5:8 KJV
8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God's Love never excluded any sinner, nor can it ever include unrepentant sin that would of a necessity separate us from that Love.

Many forget that ALL are sinners in the sight of God, and cannot have hope and certainty without having met the requirement of the simple message brought to us by Christ Jesus, yet ANY may meet that requirement through faith and belief in HIS sacrificial atonement.

Christ had no need to make that sacrifice for the righteous, but made it rather for the sinner that could not ever obtain accessibility to that Love without that sacrifice being made.

Luke 5:32 KJV
32I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

God's Love for this paltry creature began before He CREATED that creature in HIS own image.

When breathing life into the nostrils of that creature, it became a creature of choice, a creature uniquely made both of body and of spirit.

The fact that that very choice was given that creature could either enhance or distort the image of  Love given it went and goes unnoticed by the creature choosing distortion rather than clarity of that image.

Sin distorted and continues to distort that image that each faces in the mirror, and in the pale reflection of like creatures allowed to walk the earth for a while, while making a choice of acceptance or rejection of the very Love with which it was created.

The Love itself goes undiminished, undistorted, ever available to those seeking it despite the denial of both the Love and the Creator, propagated by the desire of that creature to BE God rather than to accept his place within the creation, even though that place is so special to his Creator.

God has never hated the sinner, but hates, instead, the sin that separates the sinner from that Love.

Choice dictates that either Love, or separation from that Love be taken, a clear choice that brooks no argument from the creature acceptable to the Creator.

What greater proof does that creature require of the Love granted him than that shown by Christ Jesus' death and resurrection for him?

What greater proof of that Love could possibly await than the gift of eternal life made possible through Him?

What reward is there that is greater than that given through that LIFE that comes through the simple acceptance of the Love offered us?

Mark 8:36 KJV
36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Still man seeks refuge in his own "knowledge" and pride of that "knowledge",  trying to force acceptance of what God has deemed unacceptable, clinging to choices made that are contrary to the acceptance of that Love that still reaches out in compassion, asking obedience and love in return.

Choice still remains clear, no matter how man would obfuscate that choice.

2 Timothy 1:12 KJV
12For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Amen, and Amen
