Change

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein

(Hebrews 13: 1-9)

This world, insignificant in size or importance within a giant universe, yet significant to its Creator with all the creations placed upon it, particularly the creature given dominion over it, constantly seems to seek and find change.

That change sought is sought by each member of the race of beings placed upon it to tend to its continuance and the proliferation of what was originally intended to be its purpose.

Pursued are avenues of science, purportedly for the betterment of both this world, and for that caretaking creature, philosophy solely sought for the comfort and peace of mind of that caretaker, and every “ology” and “osophy” conceived by that creature that chases more and better knowledge than what was given to his predecessors.

Change does indeed occur.

Truths, held in esteem, honor, that brought consolation and betterment are rejected for “new truths” that deny the old, deny any previously held truth that might confine the pleasures chased by that caretaker as he continues to be more than a caretaker and replace the Creator Himself.

New interpretation is offered to support those “new truths” that negate the validity of what was first given, and intended to be guidance and protection for both the caretakers and their limited territory to faithfully manage and maintain in the perfection it was first created.

Unchanged, unchanging, and unchangeable remain the original purpose given both the creature and his domain.

Unchanged, unchanging, unchangeable, remains the Creator of that creature; the intent of that Creator, for that creature, despite his concept of self-importance, or denial of the truth of his purpose, and unchanged remains the love of the creator for his creation.

The original gift of life given that creature remains unchanged.

The original freedom of choice given that creature remains.

The original option given that creature to choose the blessing, given by that Creator, or the curse of denying that blessing remains unchanged, unchanging and unchangeable.

So too does the TRUTH given by that Creator remain unchanging, and unchangeable.

The promise given that creature is unchanged…the warning given that creature is unchanged.

The only thing that is changeable by that creature lies within the capability of the choice he makes to accept or deny purpose, intended life, or death in its place, to accept the need to be loved by that Creator and love Him in return, or to deny that love and replace it with what was offered in its place by another rebellious creature from the beginning.

Change is possible, only by acceptance of the truly unchangeable.

Any other change sought, is sought in vain, and leads to an unchangeable destination that denies life intended to be eternal, that remains eternal and unchangeable once sought and found.

“We live in a changing world, and must change with it to survive.”

This is a quote heard regularly, given most readily by those promoting change in attitude, morality, equality, and in fact promoting change in belief in both the Creator and His intended purpose for those wanting that change.

I would “change” that statement to reflect the TRUTH, that we live in an unchanging world that refuses to accept its unchangeabilty of purpose originally given by that Creator.

As reflected in the oft quoted prayer by Francis of Assisi, there is indeed a necessity to change that which is changeable, accept that which is unchangeable and recognize the difference.

God is unchanging and unchangeable.

His love is unchanging and unchangeable.

His gift to us of His grace is unchanging and unchangeable.

Jesus, through Whom that grace is given, is unchangeable.

The requirement of faith to attain that grace is unchangeable.

The WAY, TRUTH and LIFE is unchangeable, immutable and irreconcilable and without compromise.

The commandment given by Him is unchangeable and unchanged.

The message preached by Him is unchangeable and eternal.

“Repent! For the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

Seek change, true change where it can be found.

Ignore the “change” demanded by man and the false promises of that change.

Hold fast to the unchangeable and all that it entails.

Refuse to be misled by those whose faith is in changing the unchangeable to assuage their fear of the unchangeable.

Establish your faith ON and IN that unchangeablity and both the PROMISE and the WARNING that are part and parcel of the Unchangeable.

Matthew 5:16-19

King James Version (KJV)

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Change only that intended to be changed.

Heed those who recognize the unchangeable, not those refusing that change needed.

Ephesians 2:8-10 King James Version (KJV)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Amen and Amen
