“How then shall we escape?”...the Wayfarer 2/2/14

“How then shall we escape?”  2/2/14 “How then shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that herd him; God also bearing witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?” (Hebrews 2:3 & 4) As this tiny dirtball turns, and each day on it passes, the same question is asked daily by those I spoke of before, the innocents, the believers, and unbelievers alike, who see only the influence and ongoing assault by those who follow the dictates of mankind... who is in turn directed, or better stated, misdirected, by Lucifer to achieve his own ends while he is still allowed to do so. “How can I escape?” “How long Oh Lord?” The answers to these questions, seemingly so elusive are, and have been available from the beginning of the race of mankind. The questions being asked are the wrong ones, when ask

“Give or Take”...the Wayfarer 1/27/14

“Give or Take” 1/27/14 “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” (Luke 6:38) It has been said, and I find it also to be quite true, that two kinds of people exist in this world, givers, and takers. They view the givers as gullible, and weak, somehow less blessed with the intellect to prosper than those whose primary goal in life is to gain as much of its riches as possible for themselves, often at the cost of even those closest to them to include family. They view the world through property and dollar signs instead of viewing it for what it is and what is available far more precious than the accumulation of that property or the wealth they seek. They are gluttonous, and cov

“They shall dwell with Confidence”...the Wayfarer 1/26/14

“They shall dwell with Confidence”  1/26/14 “And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the Lord their God.” (Ezekiel 28:26) I return, today to the writings of that old prophet, Ezekiel, and the wisdom passed through the ages to us, as well as to his own people in the time in which he wrote. Once more, I find the wisdom of Ecclesiastes screaming at me across the centuries that lessons given once, will be repeated until finally accepted and learned. “The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying, Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord God; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God; B
