But the Unjust knoweth no Shame
"The just Lord is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame."
(Zephaniah 3:5)
Justice! Continually the cry goes out for justice.
All too often that cry is not for justice at all, but for recompense and vengeance that falls far from the mark of justice as seen by the only Just being in the universe.
Many get deeply involved in the cry for "social justice." Many more cry out for equality that is already extant and manifests itself in ways that are unacceptable to that society.
Among those crying out for justice, there are always  those, and will always be, those who have no concept of God's delivery of what is being called for. There are always, and will always be, those self seeking, self aggrandizing who stir discontent, all the while doing so in false calls for that justice that would justify that which is unjust, ungodly, and unacceptable to God.
Instead of concern for the souls of men, their concern is for the ability of those men to deny what is demanded by God of man.
Some even take the appellation of "Reverend" claiming to be the servants of that Just God, promoting dissent and sin instead of promoting the laws of God set forth in the scriptures.
As a nation turns from God, and His laws, all too often it turns from the laws of men that are based on His laws as well.
When the laws of men are violated, then enforced, once again the cries for justice go out by  those whose desire is not for justice at all, not for equality at all, but for the ability to deny and disobey all laws without consequence, with impunity based on their concepts of a justice  that exists on a far different plane than that of God.
Mankind's justice is imperfect, unjust, and abominable when placed alongside that demanded by a Creator whose laws are denied for the wishes of those claiming to seek "justice".
"Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his Maker?"
(Job 4:17)
Men are not more pure than God! Man cannot be more just than God!
Men cannot expect impunity from the laws of God!
As it was in Noah's time, all too often, those thinking themselves above the laws of both God and men honor only the strength and desires of themselves and their peers, who through their denial and disobedience find that justice is unacceptable for them, yet demand it from others.
Depravity, theft, complete abandon of all law existed during the time of Noah, and draws closer each time the demand for justice falsely cried out for is given.
The cries for justice should be given to God. The cry to turn back to the laws given by God should be given alongside that cry. The concern for the souls of those in denial of those laws should ring loudly and clearly instead of the promotion of violence and revenge, which incidentally, God claims for His own, reserving it to himself instead of reserving it to men who deny His justice.
"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with thy God."
(Micah 6:8)
All have been shown through the scriptures, through the laws of God, through the laws of men that were based on those laws, what is just, what is true, what is good, what is required!
All will face the justice of a Judge, whose mercy is forever, but whose wrath is also never to be denied, whose laws are given clearly and concisely, and whose judgment is final.
The laws of men that violate the laws of God will be judged. The laws of men that are within the laws of God will be enforced.
There will be no cries for justice as that justice is meted out to those whose cries for mercy instead of justice are not given, simply because of the denial of mercy already shown, justice already delivered, not by unjust men, but by a Just and Demanding God, whose concern is never for the riches offered by the ones denying His justice, but for the riches offered by Him in return for the simple obedience of HIS laws.
Choices continue to be made. Choose to seek the justice and mercy offered by God, or choose to seek whatever perversion is offered in its place.
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but t fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
(Matthew 5:17-19)
"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."
(Revelation 22:12)
Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!
 Amen and Amen!!
